ChordPro is an open community standard, not a BandBinder invention - the spec, the tooling, and the community all live at chordpro.org, independent of any one app. BandBinder reads and writes that standard rather than a private format: import a .chordpro file today, and it opens in any other ChordPro-aware tool tomorrow.
