Choosing a theme

Open Settings -> Theme for a grid of 12 curated themes, seven dark and five light. Each one is tuned for contrast and legibility on a chart full of chords and lyrics, not decoration - pick whichever reads best in your rehearsal space or under stage lighting, and switch any time; the change applies instantly, everywhere in the app.

Paper Stage for daylight gigs

Every theme's dark or light background is for indoor and evening use. For an outdoor or daylight gig, switch Paper stage on in Settings instead: it flips Performance Mode to a fixed, print-like page - white background, near-black text - that direct sunlight can't wash out. It's a separate setting from Theme and only affects Performance Mode; see Performance Mode for the rest of the stage view.

Per-device, never synced

Theme and Paper Stage are appearance, not band data: each device remembers its own choice, the same way it remembers window size. Signing into a band shares the songbook, not the look of it - your bandmate on the amber Setlist theme and you on dark Backstage can both be looking at the exact same chart.
